OUR FAVOURITE THINGS TO COOK WITH

Since they first stepped into the MKR kitchen, the teams have been able to use a range of the very latest kitchen appliances. So, what gadgets have they fallen in love with and what appliances can they no longer do without?

KENWOOD FOOD PROCESSOR AND STAND MIXER

"It makes chopping and cutting so quick and easy. I'm loving it and it looks so stylish and modern sitting on the kitchen bench. I loved the brushed metal look."

CAZ

"The Kenwood food processor and the stand mixer blew meaway. They're not the cheapest appliances to buy but they areworth every cent because you can do so much with them. I love the fact that you can grate parmesan cheese. I used to grate it by hand and it takes ages. And it's great at mixing pasta dough, too." CHRIS

KENWOOD BLENDER

"It's a great piece of equipment for making purees. You can pop in hot liquids and it's just wicked to make soups. It's a big time saver."

DAMO

KENWOOD HAND BLENDER

"I loved the hand blender because it was quick, easy to use and easy to clean. My husband is Egyptian, and the blender's great for chopping fresh herbs for my kofta, or making tabouli. I also like making a salsa — you can give things a quick whizz and it doesn't turn everything to mush."

BREVILLE ICE CREAM MAKER

"I'm a big sweet tooth and this machine is unreal. You can make frozen yoghurts and sorbets and the machine tells you when it's ready. The pre-cool function goes down to -40C and is a massive time saver. It mixes and churns well. I made a great salted caramel semi-freddo that goes well with Caz's choccy brownies." DAMO

"I love making ice cream and this machine makes it so much easier. My ice cream comes out very creamy and tastes beautiful." KELSEY

DELONGHI DEEP FRYER

"I've never had a deep fryer, but always wanted one so I can make cannoli. I tried to make cannoli before on the stove top with oil, but getting the temperature consistent is practically impossible. With the deep fryer, I could set it to 180C and know it would stay at that temperature and make perfect cannoli." MARK

"This has become one of the favourites in my kitchen. It's great for making doughnuts." KELSEY
